Ipswich Youth Soccer Travel league promotes and fosters the game of soccer by providing players the opportunity to experience the game of soccer, continually develop soccer skills and participate in a controlled competitive environment. We strive to promote sportsmanship and character in our players, coaches, parents and fans.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the IYS Travel Board and Coaches try to make sure everyone makes a team, there is the possibility that, owing to space limitations, some children will not. ECYSA limits the numbers of players each team can have on its roster. Participation on a Travel Team requires a commitment from players to play in both the fall season and the spring season. Players should not tryout if they cannot make this commitment.

U12 Boys:
Tuesday, June 8, 5:30-7:00pm: Completed
Thursday, June 10, 5:30-6:30pm: Completed
U12 Girls:
Wednesday, June 2, 5:30-7:00pm: Completed
Monday, June 7, 5:30-6:30pm: Completed
U14 Boys:
Make up for 1st session: Sat., June 12, 9-10:30am: Completed
Make up for 2nd session: Wed., June 16, 5:30-6:30pm
U14 Girls:
Wednesday, June 9, 5:00-6:30pm: Completed
Monday, June 14, 5:30-6:30pm
Where: All tryout sessions will be held at Raymond Fields on Route 133, across from Candlewood Golf Course.
- Parental consent is required for tryouts.
- Each player MUST bring his or her own soccer ball, shin guards and water.
- Each player is encouraged to attend both sessions if possible, but we are aware of conflicting events.
Returning Travel Players:
- All current Travel players are required to tryout, even if you are not moving up in age group. If you cannot make the tryout session, you must contact either the Girls Director ( Tom Hammond at akemmerer8982@comcast.net) or the Boys Director ( John Mulkerin at johnmulkerin@gmail.com)
Basic registration fees cover the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons. This fee does not include uniform costs.
- Fee for 1st player in the family: $115.00
- Fee for 2nd player in the family: $100.00
- Fee for 3rd player in the family: $90.00
- Full Uniform Price: $60.00
- Family Maximum: $305.00
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN AND ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE ATTENDING A TRYOUT SESSION. PAYMENT BY CHECK AND 1X1 COLOR PHOTO OF PLAYER NEEDS TO BE MAILED IN TO P.O. BOX 586. ALL NEW TO TRAVEL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR PROOF OF AGE AT TRYOUTS, IYS WILL NOT KEEP THESE COPIES, BUT WE NEED PROOF OF AGE TO COMPLY WITH MASS YOUTH SOCCER RULES.
